"Excellant breakfast choice and period of which this was great. Gym facitilities were ok but not all appeared to be in working order. Cleaan pool. Jacuzzi, steam roon and sauna. Grounds were nice and well kept."

"Superb pub with rooms some of which are pet friendly. The bar area was open to dogs and we met quite a few well behaved pooches. The food is the same whether restaurant or bar and is excellent. The breakfasts are worthy of mention, eggs were delicious. Staff are lovely helpful and seem very happy in their work. They could not do enough for us. Excellent large car park with quick access to reception. Needless to say surrounded by beautiful scenery, Lakeland views and set in a quiet location ....

"Everything about our stay at the Hare and Hounds was 10/10. From the warm welcome,best welcome book and tray lovely clean bathroom and comfy bed to the excellent breakfast all was faultless. We can't wait to visit again."

"View from room was beautiful. Room condition was acceptable. Breakfast was basic buffet with cold cuts,cereal ,fruits , simple pastry ,coffee from automatic coffee machine. No hot food included in booking such as eggs or full English breakfast ,You have to pay more for that. "
