"Our room was excellent very quiet with lovely comfortable bed, nice bed linen, towels and plenty of tea&coffee etc. Breakfast was delicious. We ate evening meals at the hotel which were homemade and great quality and reasonable price. New owners have taken over hotel just over 2 mths ago and we found them to be very friendly, welcoming and hard working. "Property appears to have been recently made over, everything is new and fresh, extremely clean and although on the small side the rooms are perfect for overnight stays, comfortable bed and with more than enough tea/coffee supplies unlike a lot of places. The continental breakfast was excellent quality and plentiful. We could not fault the staff who were extremely friendly and helpful. Overall excellent value for money and we will definitely go back"

Several significant cracks in the walls and evidence of water leaks around the heated towel rail and over bath shower head was leaking water out when running the bath taps. "Very modern, refurbished room, overlooking the beer garden and caravan site. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of goodies in the room, including fresh milk in the mini fridge, and the extra treats you get for staying with a doggo. The bathroom, bed and chairs were all super comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. I had dinner in the restaurant, and the staff were super polite and friendly.
