Dear Hoi and Ping, Thank you for choosing our family of Riverside Hamlet and sharing your feedback. We are very sorry that we couldn’t help you enjoy your stay here although we have tried our best. On the day of checkin, we recommended you some places to visit and help you with some suggestions for your holiday in Hoi An. Unfortunately, you only decided it late in the evening, when almost travel agent closed (Although the new staff was not really good at English but I could help make some phone calls. I couldn’t book the tour because it was late). On the second day, you decided to book yourself an early tour from a travel agent. Actually, we usually recommend tours to another travel agent, who is better and also compete to this one. And that’s the reason why this travel agent didn’t want to support us with the pickup. Even though we suggested to drive you to their place for the tour next day, but you just refused our help and decided to move to another hotel. In that case we decided to refund you the second night. We didn’t want to force you to stay here if you were not happy with it. Although we always try our best to make all of our guests enjoy their stay here, we understand that we would not be able to be perfect all the time. If a 10 minute by bicycle location is too far for you, and if you don’t mind the sound of the city, then we believe a central hotel right in the old town would be better for you. We located in a countryside village so we would be better for those who prefer a quiet and peaceful place. Anyway, we hope you had enjoyed your last day in Hoi An and wish you all the best. Although our homestay is not located right in the center, but 15' by bicycles or 7' by taxis to get to the ancient town is just enough to give you a chance to relax and enjoy a quieter side of life on the island. We are also glad to hear that you did enjoy our outdoor pool and the sunbeds here as many other guests. Since we opened, we haven't found any problems with the two sunbeds, even when we are full of guests, because we only have some rooms at our villa. It was our pleasure to help you out with the phone. We treat our guests as friends by our heart, so we always try to help you out with any problems.
