The property was not the one I thought and ended up being out of town in the CRA-Alle Hostel. This actually turned out to be advantageous for me as I was there for Wacken 2023 and they had moved camping to the airfield just down the road. There is very limited food and other services here but Hohenlockstedt is not too far. Staff were very friendly and accommodating for my stay.

Clean and spacious appartment

We arrrived late from a long driving day. The communication with the owners went very well. They are most friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious. The location outside was not so attractive but since we had to leave early it did not matter at all.

This property was listed as a guesthouse with one bedroom over a bakery in town. Then we were given instructions to go somewhere else in the the middle of know where. It was a hostel that only provides one room and bathroom. The kitchen and refrigerator were shared among all the guests. The room was filled with spiders everywhere. It didn’t appear dusted. Spider webs were hanging from the ceiling and tv and door ways. No where to walk to a store or restaurant.

Das obere Zimmer hat uns garnicht gefallen, es rocht muffelig und der Aufgang dunkel. Der Gesamteindruck: es ist nicht empfehlenswert, bei dem Preis. Ich wünsche dem Besitzer eine gute Nachbesserung, damit ich die Unterkunft empfehlen kann. Mit freundlichem Gruß Bernhard Diedrichsen

Nie wieder

Zur Anmeldung mußte ich eine Telefonnummer anrufen und danach kam eine Frau aus dem Nachbarhaus. Sie mußte nichts von der Reservierung und war stark verunsichert. Diese Unterkunft wird scheinbar von ausländischen Montagearbeitern genutzt. Im stark sanierungsbedürftigen Hinterhaus befinden sich die Zimmer. Die Zimmer sind sehr einfach ausgestattet (sieht aus wie eine Sammlung aus Wohnungsauflösungen / Sperrmüll). Der Fernseher funktionierte nicht. Ein Rauchmelder fehlte, eine eingetretende Tür,... Der Hinweis auf den fehlenden Raumelder wurde mit der Bemerkung das es ein Nichtraucherzimmer sei beantwortet. Auf der Terrasse befindet sich ein Sofa zwischen Wäsche und alten Reifen. Ich werde nie wieder dort übernachten.

Ok overnatning prisen.

Vi booked et ophold I en by, på ankomstdagen havde ejeren sendt en mail om at vores værelse var uden for byen, på en nedlagt kasserne, det stør rimelig autentisk, det var ok for os, fin grønt område: men havde været rart at vide på forhånd. Jeg tror sengetøjet var nyvasket: samt nogenlunde rengøring: dog var der lidt døde insekter i vinduerne og et par cigaretskodder undr en seng. Fjernsynet virkede ikke. Fælleskøkkenet var ok. Et ok sted hvis hovedformålet er overnatning til en billig pris. Under vores ophold var de øvrige beboere mest håndværkere og en mindre fest. Venlig modtagelse da vi fandt væreten/lokationen.

Einfache Unterkunft, sauber, ruhig und abgelegen

Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und um die Zufriedenheit der Gäste bemüht. Die Location ist im "Hungrigen Wolf"; die Unterkunft sind ehemalige Kasernen. Es steht eine große Küche zur Verfügung, die allerdings noch im Aufbau ist (Geschirrspülmaschine ist noch nicht vollständig betriebsbereit). Wir fühlen uns hier sehr wohl. Das Gruppenzimmer ist sehr einfach und ohne Fernseher; die kleineren Doppelzimmer haben Fernsehen (was uns genau NULL interessiert hat, aber da sind wir wohl eher Ausnahmen). Aufgrund des günstigen Preises kommen hier anscheinend oft auch schon mal ausländische Gruppen unter, die eine recht egozentrische Sicht auf Eigentumsverhältnisse haben. So kann es schon mal sein, dass Dinge fehlen oder nicht einwandfrei sind. Die Gastgeber schaffen nach kurzer Information umgehend Abhilfe. Das im Profil abgebildete Haus war NICHT die Unterkunft! Besucher mit höheren Ansprüchen an Komfort sind hier sicherlich falsch. Wer allerdings ruhig übernachten möchte und bei Kleinigkeiten auch selbst aktiv werden kann, ist hier richtig. Zur Zeit unseres Aufenthaltes waren keine größeren Gruppe als Gäste anwesend. Ich persönlich empfehle diese Gastgeber und Unterkunft weiter: Ich habe mich wohl gefühlt!

Außen pfui, innen hui, aber nicht preiswert

Meine bereits bezahlte Buchung war bei Ankunft gar nicht beim Vermieter angekommen. Die Dame, die mich empfangen hat war aber sehr nett. Eingangsbereich bis zum Zimmer war schmutzig und auch alt. Eine riesige Dachterrasse, aber leider sehr schmutzig. Leider kein WLAN Passwort erhalten. Auch noch daran gedacht, sie zu fragen. Der Fernseher geht nur der Ton- kein Bild. Das Zimmer an sich ist sauber, Bad sauber... Küche habe ich nicht genutzt/gesehen.

A very strange property and not in a good way when we arrived at the address given on Expedia there was no one there We called the telephone number and was Told the property was actually 4km away and not in town. Actually we discovered it was in a the middle of a forest in a remote location near no facilities and after some research discovered it was part of an old army training facility used years ago the building itself was in a poor state of decoration and Most of the residents appeared to be semi homeless After some discussions the friendly owner arranged for two adjoining rooms for us as it was too late to arrange other accommodations and My kids were tired after long journey that day The rooms were at least spacious and quiet although very basic and floors And furniture were all very grubby and old Not a place to ever consider in future and we didn’t feel Particularly safe there
