"Had a nice overnight stay at the Metropolitan Inn. Despite some construction going on in various rooms (remodeling and updated) and the run-down appearance in some areas, the room itself was clean, quiet and super comfortable. All basic needs were covered AND it was affordable - which is a huge plus in this day and age! It's not the ritz, but I was comfortable and would stay there again."

"Room was okay and not what we expected. There were no dishes, cups, utensils, or coffee maker in the room. We needed to request whatever we needed and this was unexpected. I assumed there would be at least a few basics already set up in the room. "

"The shower wasn’t clean and the shower temperature control didn’t work (It was set to nearly scalding hot water) so I couldn’t take a shower. I notified the front desk and they didn’t seem very concerned about it …"

"Quiet place bed was very comfy and so were the pillows. Breakfast was amazing and the room was so fun :) check in was easy and the neighborhood was quiet. I definitely want to stay there again."

"The only good thing about the hotel was Maddie. She was so sweet and kind. She went above and beyond her duties to make our stay comfortable. The reason I put 2 stars is because there was so much construction going on. I had a medical procedure and didn’t expect to be disrupted during recovery. I was unaware of this situation. Also, the plumbing was smelly. I’m not sure if this was due to the construction but it smelt like sewage. Every time I flushed the toilet it smelt like a port a potty."
