The host prepares breakfast for the next day every evening, so there’s a good chance you’ll see her and have a quick chat. The guest rooms are spacious, and the common areas are warmly decorated—it’s a cozy and homey place to stay. The host is very welcoming. This was up to now the best guesthouse we stayed at during our trip. Very clean. Rooms size are good. Breakfast was good and copious. The host was very nice and welcoming. We appreciated the opportunity to do laundry. Late check in was easy and well communicated before our arrival. We would definitely stay here again in a future trip. Hofn is a nice little town to stop and relax on your trip around yhe route 1.

We stayed here for one night. Check-in was easy. Our room had two twin beds, it was small, but enough room for our suitcases, and a desk. The shared area is just like a house with a decent sized and clean kitchen, and dining table and sofas to relax. She has laundry machines with detergent available, you pay by QR code, so nice and convenient. The upstairs bathroom is a good size, and shared with 3 rooms. Overall a nice stay. We would stay here again.
