Good Location, Good Staffs, Nice and Clean Room

I arrived the hotel very early but the reception was very helpful. Room was clean and big enough, Everything you need was prepared.

Nice hotel not far from city centre

I stayed at fountainside hotel for 3 nights, and the service there was lovely, with front staff and also houeskeeping. you can walk like 7-10 mins to salamanca square, the room was clean, with big flat screen tv, shower room is nice here. I got a great view from my room on 6th floor, as could see fountain from the window, nice view in the morning

房間大，有車位，可以煮食，員工態度好好，自駕方便，唯一去超市要行斜路，到市中心步行10多分鐘路程，下次有機會再入住。

The central location is a draw, though restaurants are scant in the surrounding streets. The breakfast includes hot carbs, quite enjoyable. The view of the lush green park in the roundabout was pleasing. Staff were always pleasant, smiling, polite and willing to help. However, the cable TV says it has hundreds of movies... in reality, there were just fifteen movies, a range that would have been acceptable if the movie titles included high-brow ones.

Nice staff and location. Hotel located on a busy road, occasionally you can hear big the big trucks goes by. But not a big issue to us.

Location is a bit disconcerting- right on a roundabout where two major roads converge but traffic noise wasn’t too bad (on 2nd floor). Easy walking distance to everywhere. Easy to get out of town to the airport.

Big clean room at convenient location

The room was big, clean and well-equipped. It should be termed a service apartment instead of hotel. The toiletries were great! Few minutes walk to Woolworths and the shopping street.

The room had 1 light not working which was not fixed although the reception told us that it had been. We tried to have dinner in the restaurant and were told that vegetables were not available unless a tour had booked in. That made no sense whatsoever so we left to find somewhere more suitable.

Great location, friendly staff, comfortable, spacious rooms. We had breakfast there and were happy with the food and price. Really pleased with our stay.

Our king room was clean and comfortable. Parking was convenient. It was a short walk to the water, restaurants, Salamanca Markets and the Mona Ferry. We would stay here again.

These other ratings are unjustified. For one, the road noise alone deserves a downgrade of a point or two. It is continuous with exception of 1am to 3am. Buses, semis, harleys, cars, etc either zoom by or down or up shift at the intersections lights. Plus squeaky brakes. All rooms face the road. They say double glass. If so, they need triple. And they dont open. And it is next to a hospital. They join in the cacaphony too. Plus it can be downgraded for its age, drabness and general unappealing appearance. It is more of a motel in character. Plus the staff is not exactly friendly. I never received a smile or hello. When i checked in the one person on call was in the bathroom. She then gave me some passive aggressive cheek when i declined to allow repair workers access to my room at 10am to replace curtains. They allowed them entry anyway while i was at lunch. They could have stolen anything they wanted to. Im sure the hotel would not have accepted liability. And no lock boxes. Plus the hotel could have assigned me a room NOT under repair, right? If it had to do this. Nope. The customer be damned. It is our hotel. The only positives were the maid service. Although they poisoned the room every day with liters of cloying deoderant that has to cause lung damage. And the rooms were mostly newish. They could deserve a one star, but, im being kind. These other marks seem suspicious. One sentence reviews? General puffery. If this is a top property, maybe Hobart needs a wake up call.
