"We had a really nice 2 night stay, we checked in earlier as our room was ready, which was a lovely start.
The hotel was beautiful, the service was excellent, the bed was very comfortable, the shower hot and powerful.
We enjoyed some nice food in the atrium bar, a lovely afternoon tea in the 1853 restaurant. And some nice 6 oclock gin on the terrace - all with fantastic service.
The only negative was the room was so hot it was uncomfortable, a fan was provided and was really needed. There...
"Place was amazing and really accommodateing, was traviling with a 3 month old and they could not do enough to make us feel welcome and offered all the help we could ask for. Bar and restaurant really lovely food and choices of beers and ciders. "
"This hotel is in a beautiful location - our room was clean and welcoming. It was hot with no AC but there was a fan in the wardrobe.
Plenty of parking too."
"Weekend staff were amazing. On Monday the chef was extremely rude and condescending when was told that the coffee machine had run out of coffee and when was requested for a fried egg. She literally snapped at my son when he asked for a fried egg. Not impressed at all! Otherwise this hotel deserves a 5 star rating all over "
"Beautiful old pub. Rooms were nicely finished and the food was very good. In a lovely, quiet village. No amenities in the village; however, there are other bigger villages nearby. Stayed 3 nights and would recommend."
"Old charming manor that is one of the best in Cotswolds. Having stayed at a couple others including Lords of the Manor, the positives of this one in comparison are: its easier to get to from London, the grounds are amazing and impeccable, its a truly remote feel among the hills, land and animals of Cotswolds, and the michelin starred Dining Room is probably the best food in the Cotswolds. "Lovely spacious room/suite .. Quiet, great car parking & straight out onto lovely footpaths/countrysde ! Easy reach of Tetbury & Cirencester is within reach .. Highly recommend. "
