Beautiful space, management could improve
We really enjoyed the apartment’s location…it was beautiful, clean, and felt very safe, which made our stay comfortable overall. However, we were disappointed with the management side of things. When we arrived, we learned the water would be turned off for a period of time, something that had not been communicated beforehand. The property manager explained this was an HOA decision after we reached out to them about it , but we still felt the lack of communication was frustrating, as it’s not something we would expect when booking accommodations.
We also had no hot water during part of our stay. While we appreciated the offer to send maintenance, we requested a specific time frame so we could be present, as we weren’t comfortable with someone entering while we were away. The manager insisted the worker was vetted but didn’t respect our boundary, and ultimately the issue was not resolved since we didn’t want someone in the unit while we weren’t present .
Overall, while the apartment itself was lovely, we felt there was little accountability from management when issues arose. Guests deserve full transparency and support, especially when paying full price for a unit that isn’t fully functional.
