Beautiful location, very quiet and peaceful, very friendly and helpful host who made our stay here! Beautiful rooms with the most amazing views, wonderful infinity pool with incredible views. If you want peace and quiet to relax this is the place. We stayed here for 5 days and hardly left as it was just so beautiful and peaceful. Would definitely stay again.

We had the best time at Serendipity Lake house. Chathuranga was warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. It’s so peaceful and relaxing, and the food is delicious.
It’s very clean and well kept, oh and the boat trip around the lake and kayaking are a must! Thank you for making our time with you so special 🙏

Heaven in Sri Lanka. The space is just magical. You'll feel like you're in a private luxury jungle with an incredible view and pool. You can stay here for days indulging in complete relaxation and pleasure. The hosts are super attentive and don't forget to ask for a Sri Lankan breakfast, they are excellent cooks.

Chathuraga and Serendipity team were wonderful. Our only regret was that one night was too short! The property itself is huge, with a pool with an amazing view and one villa (2 rooms) with stellar views overlooking the lake! Nature lovers paradise!

Waking up to such a serene and picturesque setting created an instant sense of calm and relaxation. What made the location even more appealing was its proximity to both the train station and the main beach, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. Chathuranga and staff at the hotel were simply exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was perfect. From arranging transportation to nearby beaches, preparing delicious local cuisine to offering guided tours of the nearby temple – just steps away from the hotel – their dedication to ensuring our experience was nothing short of extraordinary was truly commendable.
