"We had to stay at the Rock Inn last minute for a wedding after our airbnb fell through and it was so much better than our original plans. The staff was so helpful and kind, the food was amazing (we had dinner there, as well as the breakfast included with the room fee), and the old pub interiors were so cozy. The rooms could be considered a bit 'dated' but everything was in great condition and very clean so it added to the charm (not to mention the retro gin and whiskey dispenser decoration in...
"TotALY perfect . Lots of communication .Easy check in . Gorgeous room . Delicious Pie ( it was Friday ) and veg . Breakfast was perfectly cooked. We took a walk and lost our way which was also perfect . Cant wait to go back "

"Lovey hotel. We went for an afternoon tea gift. Which was amazing. Everything baked in house. We made a weekend of it with an overnight stay. Staff very very friendly and nothing too Much trouble. Location is wonderful with a couple of good walks.

"Great pub with rooms with everything we needed. If you are lucky, as we were, you will get magnificent views over the Teign estuary. We didn't get to eat with them in the evening but two locals informed us it was their go to place for an evening meal."

I love the quirky old fashioned styling but it's done in a modern way.
The menu seemed basic but the quality of the food was fantastic everybody should try the prawns starter !!!
Two dislikes
Coffee machine in room too small difficult to use.
The noise of extractor fans outside the windows was a constant drone but okay if you're used to noise and not from the quiet countryside.
