"I booked this place because we desperately needed somewhere to stay for easy travel to Wembley. I was a bit uncertain about the reviews but honestly this place is fine. It's not incredible, but the staff were genuinely really nice and friendly, it's an easy 5-10 min walk from the train station, the rooms are run down and not that aesthetically pleasing but we found the bed wasn't too bad, and it was clean. Noise carries between rooms but even though the hotel was full we got good sleep. It felt...

"Room was in a loft, VERY hot and stuffy. Asked for a fam or something, was not available. The bed was on wheels on hard floor, so kept moving throughout the night. VERY uncomfortable sleep. Bathroom had dark brown and purple marks on the mirror and hair on the floor. They have a pool table downstairs, but you have to pay £5 per hour for. They have a coffee sign outside, but no coffee. Would not stay here again, disappointing."

"Als je na een lange reis in de bloedhitte eindelijk aankomt bij een hotel, verwacht je op zijn minst dat je vriendelijk en met aandacht wordt ontvangen. Niet dat er ondertussen druk op de telefoon berichtjes worden getypt. Ik bedoel... wat is nu 5 minuutjes even met onverdeelde aandacht je gasten ontvangen? De kamer was bloedheet, maar daar kan niemand iets aandoen. Het tapijt is goor evenals het hoofdeind van het bed. Badkamer was prima en netjes en ruim, niets op aan te merken."

"It does exactly what it says on the tin. I always stay here during Henley royal regatta. It’s not cheap and this time the room was a bit small, but generally it’s all good. Staff were super nice. For me, a bonus is having Waitrose and another supermarket just a few minutes away. Means I don’t have to buy hotel food."

"Room was very small and quite dirty, sheets didn’t look that clean. Shower didn’t work very well. For an emergency stay it’s fine but otherwise I’d suggest looking elsewhere. It’s a pub rather than a hotel and parking is a bit dodgy. Wouldn’t stay there again"
