"Scott and Nancy were friendly and helpful hosts. Breakfast was delicious and they accommodated our gluten allergy. The b&b was located about 20 mins from the park in a rustic setting. The room was cozy, clean and comfortable. If you want to stay away from the crowds and have helpful guides at the ready and a chance to mingle with other travelers this is a great find. If you like more privacy or are tracking with kids stay in a cabin and not the main lodge."
"Were nervouse when we realized there was no AC in the room on a 92 degree day but the room cooled off nicely each nite and we slept comfortably every nite of our stay"
"I spent ten days in Montana in eight different rooms/facilities. This was my very favorite. It was spotless with great amenities, great air conditioning, full kitchen, nice balcony, living room. Very friendly staff. The only thing I would change would be the checkout time."
"Property is gorgeous! Quiet, secluded yet easy to get to. Private patio off our room for morning coffee. Lovely! Manager was super helpful and accommodating when we needed a later check out. Included breakfast is really nice too. Highly recommend!!"
"We love to visit NP lodges and Lake McDonald lodge did not disappoint. The staff from check-in to check-out were friendly, very helpful and always listening for ways to make our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. We ate onsite at the Fireside Dining Room and Lucke's Lounge--food cooked to our request, service consistent, and prices reasonable considering location. The lobby is inviting with the beautiful lantern lights, the fireplace with etched stone and a variety of comfortable seating. And most important, the views inside the lodge and outside are outstanding.
Our accommodation was a small cabin and we enjoyed looking out our door and seeing a path to the lake.
We took the Western Alpine Red Bus tour which is a great way to see the western side of Going To The Sun Road without driving. Jammer Bill provided humor and fun as he shared the history of the road."
