A lovely stay.

A really nice stay, Yiannis and Maria are wonderful hosts, both very welcoming and helpful, the cleaning girl has a lovely friendly smile. The location is excellent next to the sea and close to many restaurants. The pool area is clean and peaceful. And they also have very good taste in music!

Sehr nettes Personal, tägliche Reinigung schöne und ruhige Poolanlage. Tolle Aussicht auf's weite Meer. Nahegelegener Strand hatte ab ca.15:00 Uhr keine Sonne mehr. Trotzdem, toller Urlaub.

Perfect gelegen hotel tussen de drukkere gedeeltes van de boulevard. Gratis parkeren op eigen terrein. Prima kamers met uitzicht op zee, uitstekende bedden, goede douche. Vriendelijke eigenaren bovendien.

Nous avons séjourné une semaine dans cet appart-hotel : tout est parfait. Le couple de propriétaires est accueillant, bienveillant, parle tres bien français. Il donne de bons conseils pour des balades et activités. Le studio est propre, le ménage est fait chaque jour. Il est grand, avec le necessaire pour cuisiner. Une terrasse avec vue directe sur la mer permet d'y manger. Le propriétaire fait aussi de tres bons petits dejeuners qui sont servis au bord de la piscine, mais aussi de très bon milk-shakes et smoothies. Des places de parkings sont également reservés devant le bâtiment pour les clients. Tout est proche : supérette, restaurants, bars, loueurs de voitures... Il y a egalement la climatisation, ce qui est appréciable comme il fait assez chaud la nuit en Crête. Pour finir, le quartier est animé, ce qui nous convient bien. Par contre, pour ceux qui cherchent le calme à tout prix, l'hebergement n'est peu etre pas adapté.

Établissement bien situé proche de toutes commodités. Appartement spacieux, bien équipé et propre avec un grand balcon vue sur mer. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et attentionnés. On a même eu droit à plein d'idées de choses à voir lors de notre périple en Crête.

Sehr saubere Wohnung mit perfektem Meerblick und nicht überlaufenen Pool. Leider ziehen nachts Partygänger vor dem Haus entlang, das war zeitweise sehr laut. Die nahegelegenen Strände sind überfüllt. Jannis und Maria sind super freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut.

L’hôte est parfait, le personnel est à l’écoute , très gentil et toujours disponible. Les chambres sont conforme aux photos très grande beaucoup d’espace et la vue est magnifique. L’emplacement est parfait à 5 min de tout ! La femme de ménage passait tout les jours donc niveau propreté au top. Prochain séjour en Crète nous retournerons au Arlen beach. Pas du tout déçu !

So close to the beach and the town, but quiet.

First time we have stayed here, a family of 4. Beautiful view of the sea and only a stones throw away. The pool was lovely and clean, we were the only ones around it for 2 days (heaven). We were about 300 yards from the main street which is full of shops and bars etc and about 200 yards from the front (sea) which had loads of choices of restuarants, pubs and shops and you could walk right down to the harbour.

Great Hotel In Perfect Location

While staying at Arlen Beach me and my girlfriend had a great week. The staff were friendly and polite since the moment we got there till when we left. Perfect views of the sea and only a few minutes walk form the shops, beach and restaurants. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing week by the sea.

Hotel without the beach

Nice spacious rooms. Very clean and reasonable facilities. Good location, within walking distance to bars, clubs and high street. It is a family focused hotel. Unfortunately it is very noisy hotel because of it's concrete construction. Front of hotel has a road that is used by revellers walking back from the night out. The back of the hotel has a pool. In our case we were kept up at night by people coming back from the night out and by screaming kids by the pool in the morning. My favourite was moving of heavy wooden furniture on tiled floors by our neighbours. In short, if you are a light sleeper earplugs will not help.

Friendly, beautiful 'typically-Greek' hotel.

What a find! If you are looking for a flash, 5-star place, don't read any further... However, if you want a relaxed, spotlessly clean, reasonably priced small hotel with a breathtaking seaview and a fabulous pool in Hersonissos, this is the one! My wife and I found the Arlen Beach through Expedia late in the season (30th Aug to 6th Sept). We flew from Leeds/ Bradford and arrived late - around 11pm. The hotel is owned and run by Jóhannes (John) and Maria - who welcomed us with a smile and a quick tour of our room. They were a big part of why our holiday was so enjoyable - extremely kind, helpful and friendly, without being 'intrusive'. Lot's of invaluable advice on great places to eat, drink, and visit - as well as practical stuff like recommending the best/ cheapest car rental. Our flight back on our final day wasn't until 10pm, but Jóhannes and Maria were so accommodating, letting us spend the day around the pool and providing towels and shampoo for us to freshen up before we left for the airport at 8pm - even though we'd officially checked out at 11am that morning! Our lovely, spacious apartment was on the ground floor - bedroom backing onto the swimming pool (so relaxing at night to hear the sound of the water) open-plan living room and kitchenette with aircon and a large sliding door onto a veranda (shaded in the afternoon, which was a godsend, given the temp was 29-30 deg while we were there) with an amazing sea view, literally 20 metres from the hotel.

Excellent rapport qualité prix - Très bon accueil

Petit hôtel très bien placé (proximité de la mer, des restaurants et des commerces) mais dans un endroit calme, bien desservi par le réseau de bus; la piscine est agréable L'accueil est chaleureux. Les propriétaires parlent français et sont très disponibles.

Un 2 stelle..hotel SPORCO!

L'hotel si trova davvero in riva al mare e il personale è davvero gentile e disponibile. Queste sono le uniche due cose che ho riscontrato essere vere rispetto alle recensioni che avevo letto. La nostra camera era molto grande ma con mobili molto vecchi e tenuti male. La pulizia dell'hotel è TERRIBILE. Il bagno era molto piccolo, senza finestra, con una doccia piccola e chiusa con una tenda maleodorante e con i sanitari che perdevano acqua da sotto. Il risultato? Acqua ovunque che sporcava il pavimento. Le pulizie quotidiane vengono fatte in pochi minuti rifacendo il letto e pulendo il pavimento del bagno in modo grossolano tanto da trovare ancora peli e capelli ovunque. La domenica non fanno le pulizie. Gli asciugamani li cambiano due volte alla settimana. Le formiche le trovavamo in bagno, in cucina e fin nel frigorifero. Il lettone matrimoniale erano in realtà due lettini singoli uniti con una sponda di legno in mezzo nonostante le lenzuola matrimoniali. La piscina è piccola e nessuno fa la doccia prima di entrarci. Il personale è davvero gentile tuttavia io non me la sento di consigliarvi il posto data la PESSIMA PULIZIA delle camere e dato che la qualità dell'hotel nel complesso è pari ad un 2 stelle in Italia.

A great hotel in a fabulous location

If you want to stay right on the beach's doorstep, then this is your place! It is a wonderful hotel run by fabulous and kind hosts. The hosts greet you on arrival and are happy to help with whatever query you have. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough!
