"The rooms were fully equipped and the breakfast was gorgeous with no fatty bacon!
They also serve home made marmalade , lovely.
The beds were comfortable, water and milk provided and left in the fridge, in the room!
Beautiful garden to sit in and the staff were lovely.
I would definitely stay there again !!"

"My family of three stayed in the Nidderdale EnSuite room. It was plenty big enough and the beds were very comfortable. Nice touches included tea and biscuits awaiting our arrival in our room. We did not partake in breakfast due to other plans with family, but I have no doubt it would have been lovely. Amanda had great communication prior to our stay. I would definitely recommend it."
"Fabulous recent 2 nights stay at the Black Swan Inn . Food was excellent and the staff were friendly and very efficient . Our room was a lovely large space and a very big king sized bed which was extremely comfortable . We will definitely return . "
"Alice who owns the property goes above and beyond what she needs to do she knows every guest by there 1st name had a meal in the Cantonese restaurant (which alice runs) on Friday and the food was 1st class breakfast there a choice a good choice all the staff are very friendly beds very comfortable and clean , showers nice and hot decor could do with a up date but to be honest I wasn’t there to look at the decor there was a group of 6 and we would definitely go back "

"Stayed for two nights and the staff are welcoming, the room was clean and quiet and walkable into the heart of York and the railway station.
There is a bar with entertainment which did not disturb me during my stay.
