"While we were excited to be in Iceland to take in the landscape and sights, Hotel Budir was a whole experience in itself. It’s absolutely beautiful reminding us of a high-end inn with that is warm and inviting. Every one of the staff members from reception to the bartenders, to the chef were kind and drinks and food were nothing short of 5 star. "Easy check in and check out. Restaurant within walk-in distance. Kitchen was a bit crowded so I am glad we didn’t plan to cook. Just a few minutes away from beautiful view of the water and sunset. We drove for about 5-10 minutes and got to see northern lights. It’s located in a cute small town. Highly recommend. "

"Brand new and claen self catering unit ideally placed to exlore the Snæfellsnes peninsula. Horse back riding opportunity is on site. Because of remote location it is important to stock up on provisions beforehand."

"The room is pretty clean, (Spotless) it has nice kitchen Amenity. Three Coffee Pots (which is excellent). I only drink instant coffee and I need a bigger pot for making my instant Caramel Macchiato coffee. We only used the room for one night to rest (For Kirkjufell waterfalls and Aurora Borealis Photography) The room is sufficient enough for one night."
