"A bit of a drive from the airport. Reception area and staff were amazing. Grounds are beautiful and well kept. Rooms are very clean and spacious, only tea no coffee in rooms. "We stayed 5 days at Corail Noir hotel in a bungalow and had the best of times. The tours they arrange are very well organised with multiple language speaking tourguides. "We stayed here for 1 night on our way to another island. It is situated on its own beach about 15 minutes from the airport in a beautiful and quiet location. The staff were very nice and attentive, the food good, the room confortable and quiet and the gardens well maintained. Please note that the lodge's website doesnt do it any justice. It was much nicer than we expected. Overall it was good value for the price and we would return."

"This was my first visit to the island resort. They were very welcoming from the start. Even though I didn’t speak the local language, they were very pleasant and polite. The accommodations were very nice and private. The food menu had many choices and appealed particularly to the French and Italian people. They only suggestion I would give is to have another menu to rotate into the mix. The beach was beautiful and very accessible to the hotel guests. The walk to the beach is super close. There was always a tuk-tuk driver available to take us to town and they were always friendly and accommodating. I do recommend this hotel but be prepared for the many short “normal” power outages that occur daily. "
