"The hotel has a very unfriendly policy of presenting you with an unexpected bill for using the car park as soon as you arrive. The pool was closed for maintenance and no prior notice was given for this. The rooms are not cleaned on a daily basis and this is only explained in a letter you are presented with on arrival. Wasn’t informed of key pad access numbers to get back on at check in so had to walk all the way back to reception and all...

"Upon arrival to Splash Landings we went to the bar to order drinks. Over 10 minutes later we still had no drinks as the barman could not operate the till or simply pour a slushy. When we had breakfast in the morning it took longer to find a clean plate than it did to get breakfast. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable but we were only staying one night so we made do. I always strip the beds after we stay over at hotels to help the domestic staff and I was utterly disgusted by the bedding...
