"Room was small but had everything you need. Few shops and places to eat in walking distance. The food they served all just seem to come with chips and was abit overpriced."
"What a lovely Hotel with a twist, very pleasant staff and a great location for the races or the town centre as it’s just a 10 minute walk either way. Would definitely stay again."
"Needs a good update. A bit of a throwback to the 70s! Room clean.but in a poor state of repair.
Not impressed that you have to pay £7 a day for parking in the hotel car park which adds to tbe overall cost!"
"The hotel was amazing, beautiful room, beautiful lounges, gorgeous food. Special mention to thank Gracie G who served us in the restaurant. She went above & beyond to ensure we were happy."
"Really great hotel, clean and beautiful rooms with all you need. Proper coffee, Yorkshire tea and fresh milk in rooms. Fabulous Italian restaurant. Can’t fault anything."
"Very nice and comfortable hotel, but felt this was very much suited for business meetings and conferences, probably as very close to close by airport."

"Lovely hotel on the whole & would stay again, the rooms could do with a deeper clean, there was bits of rolled up tissue either side of bedside cabinets and something weird on the floor in the bathroom, room attendant, the next day had got rid of it. Room needs a disposable toilet brush!
lovely touch with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion provided, in the bathroom.
I paid for the upgrade and it was nice to have a fridge full of goodies, personally i’d have preferred crisps to pretzels. The pod coffees were lovely ❤️
I went for a spa day, I was extremely disappointed tbh, I went into relaxation room, unlike other spa days, I’ve been too, there wasn’t any special drinks in there, just a vat of water! On a board next to it, it said there was infused waters, mentioned to the girl on desk, who came and put some slices of orange and lemon into the container!
I had opted for the business revitalise massage, should of been 50 mins, the girl collected me at 11 am, she explained everything, I looked at my phoned before I lay on the bed and it said 11.05, girl disappeared for a further 5mins,
Massage actually lasted 34 mins my partner said I should have complained at the time, but as the receptionist was a bit hot and cold! I really didn’t want the confrontation, in front of a busy area. Although, i feel a bit robbed of time, the back massage itself was good! the legs not so good.
the robes were a bit worse for wear too.
I wouldn’t have another spa day because of this"
"Hotel was clean and staff were friendly and helpful.
Whilst carrying things from the car to the hotel in the rain, we had lost a teddy and blanket in the car park. Not only did someone kindly hand them in, but the hotel staff cleaned them as well. So kind."
Best Western Premier Doncaster Mount Pleasant Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely stay for Yorkshire Wild Live. Room exceeded expectations, it’s was massive with a large sofa, four poster bed and a large bathroom with shower and jetted bath. Everything in the whole hotel was spotless. The food was excellent each night and the staff were great. Can’t fault it at all. Would definitely stay again"
"Apart from a strange noise that came intermittently from either the pipes or the air conditioning, I cannot fault this place. The room was excellent. The quietness of the environment was outstanding. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bath was large and comfortable. There was a little wear and tear on the bannisters and newel posts on the stairway but it was clean and not screaming out for immediate redecoration. The room was in excellent condition and the bed was comfortable. A longer duvet would have been nice because I like pulling my bedding over my head. This was not important but just something I'd have liked. The restaurant is what one expects from a chain and quite pleasant enough. Overall, this place is excellent and if you want peace and quiet, outstanding."
"Just a one night stop over ..
Room clean
Staff friendly and helpful,
Lady who covered the breakfast was AMAZING, she worked so hard to meet everyone's needs.
On a negative..the bacon , felt like it had been cooked a while, so had become dry and very hard to eat ...
We throughly enjoyed our evening meal ...everything was DELICIOUS"
"Our room was in a separate building to the pub which was quiet and well kept. The pace had everything you would need for a comfortable night stay. The only thing that I would say was a slight negative was a damp smell in the bathroom.
We reserved a table for dinner, they were very busy and advised there was a wait for food but was served earlier than advised was reasonably priced and was of good quality. The only negative thing I can say about the dining experience is they do not serve Guinness!
Car park is small but plenty of street parking available and we did not have any issues.
In summary this was an extremely well priced comfortable stay with great staff and great food. I would recommend."
