This property is on the way towards kalapathar beach from Havelock. They have rooms or cottages on both side of the roads. You can enter into vijayanagar beach easily and spend time there. The beach is a perfect one for a good scenery. We enjoyed the time there.

Silver Sands is, in practical terms, the strongest overall property on the island for value, setting, and guest experience. While Taj Exotica is often promoted as the premier option, that distinction appears tailored more to status-seekers than to travelers prioritizing authenticity, comfort, and location. From a value perspective, Silver Sands delivers exceptionally well. The setting is outstanding, the beachfront lagoon is remarkable, and the panoramic views are genuinely awe-inspiring. The location alone justifies serious consideration. Operationally, the staff performs at a high level — attentive, responsive, and consistently professional. Service quality is a clear strength. That said, the property shows craftsmanship gaps in certain construction and finish details — particularly in carpentry and masonry — where higher standards would materially elevate the resort’s overall impression. The primary weak point is the food program, which falls well below the level set by the location and service quality and deserves immediate improvement. Bottom line: exceptional setting, excellent staff, correct price point, premier location — with facility finishing and culinary execution representing the main opportunities for upgrade.

Very good location and beach access. Toilet bowl had few stains during checking in process. So toilet cleanliness could be better. Room cleanliness was good. Service was good and promptly given all the time.

Absolutely average, poor in some aspects

This hotel is a very average budget hotel with poor quality rooms, unhygienic and smelly bathrooms, unclean cutlery in the restaurant, bad service, the only thing good is the location and the private beach.

Not even close to a 5 star stay. Food on site is mediocre at best (yet expensive) and the service is not great. We had mice in the room. The location is quite far away from everything else on the island so you always need a taxi, but those are not always available. This was not worth it.

Hôtel superbe avec de grandes et belles chambres .. le parc avec les cocotiers est juste magnifique et la mer splendide.. la plage mérite d’être nettoyée !!! Beaucoup d’ordures sur le côté gauche ce qui n’ai pas très beau et écologique !!!! J’ai ramassé moi même énormément de plastique !!

Excellent location right on a private patch of beach. Nice little pool as well. Pleasant service and decent food at the restaurant. Rooms are nice but a bit dated - could do with a renovation!

Wonderful resort

Wonderful location and the staff are very warm and friendly. Just a few steps away from a clean and calm beach. Perfect to relax by the beach with a nice drink and read a book. There is even a nice clean swimming pool incase the beach doesn't appeal to you.

Stunning beach view

The view of the beach is stunning. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Overall a brilliant place for our honeymoon! Also the perfect place to see sunrise.

A great place to stay.

Great accommodation and staff. Unfortunately, had a couple of days caught up in the monsoon. If you want to get away and really unwind and relax, this is the place to go! Only a short tuk tuk drive away or a walk to restaurants and other amenities. A big thank you to the staff.
