Quiet en comfortable outside the village.

A nice and beautiful building between village and forest. Near streaming waters. We were there for 2 nights. Staff and food flexible and good. Room unter the roof was quite warm. They did the utmost to run it properly.

Nice place, but no AC

Beautiful grounds and area, nice friendly staff and good breakfast. The room was nice and quaint but could use an extra pillow or two on the bed and at least a fan in the room since there are no air conditioners. Overall it was a nice stay for a night but heat and lack of fan or AC would be too much for more than a night or two at least for us.

Bodde över en natt och det var perfekt. Bra med parkering, restaurangen serverade jättegod mat och fin frukost. Hotellet är inte av modernaste snitt men är rent och snyggt.

Culinair hoogtepuntje op en onverwachte plek!

Twee maal als tussenstop geboekt naar de wintersport. De kamers zijn schoon en netjes, alles wat nodig is is aanwezig. Zoals de naam aangeeft is het hotel ondergebracht in een omgebouwde watermolen. De beek levert nu elektriciteit. Het restaurant was een openbaring, de kaart is bescheiden in omvang, maar wat er op je bordje komt..... daar staat een vakman die het snapt. Als je een rustplek zoekt (de molen ligt aan de rand van het dorp aan het bos), 15 min van de snelweg en topklasse eten met passend garnitur is hier op zijn plek. Ook het ontbijt is top, een aanrader dus!

Ur Besichtigung des Hambachter Schlosses in die Pfalz gekommen, hatten wir in der Sägmühle eine angenehme U teerkunft gefunden. Kinder und Erwachsene haben sich wohl und vor allen sehr freundlich versorgt gefühlt.

Excellent Hotel in the country

While in Germany, I decided to stay in a hotel in the country of Rheinland Pfalz. We found the Saegmuehle on the internet by searching for hotels around Neustadt. It turned out to be a quaint hotel near the forest with walkways to various villages and towns. It is an old mill from the 13th century which has been turned into a hotel. It was a very relaxing stay and allowed me to make quick excursions and sight seeing tours to regional and local areas of interest.

Old sawmill changed into a wonderful hotl

The hotel is situated next to a forest which is great for walks. It has a nice restaurant and beautiful outside areas to sit and enjoy a drink or a meal.

Mooi hotel. Wij hadden dit op de terugweg vanuit italie. Wij wilden niet in de stad,dit hotel ligt prachtig aan de rand van een bos. Hele mooie binnenplaats waar je 's avonds heerlijk kunt eten. Zeer vriendelijk personeel, verstaan goed hun vak. Simpel maar heerlijk ontbijt.

Check in war in Ordnung. Allerdings wurde offenbar übersehen, dass ich für zwei Tage gebucht hatte. Folge : Zimmerservice entfiel ( kein Bett gemacht, kein Papierkorb geleert, keine frischen Handtücher, nicht gesaugt). Die übliche Reservierung für Abendessen und Frühstück ebenso entfallen. Seifenspender am Waschbecken leer. Zimmerwände nicht in Bestzustand. Für ein Einzelzimmer dieser Preisklasse erwarte ich keine blauen und schwarzen Streifen an den Wänden. Hier hätte weiße Farbe geholfen. Wenn die Dusche im Nebenzimmer bedient wurde ertönte ein störend lauter Brummton ( Pumpe?). Beim Auschecken lange Wartezeit da ich nicht ( mehr) in der EDV registriert war. Frühstücksbüffet für 3 Sterne superior etwas mager aber noch akzeptabel. Zimmer und Bad rochen " muffig". Der Geruch war auch durch längeres Lüften meinerseits nicht zu vertreiben.

2 schöne entspannte Tage mit persönlichem Service

Wir haben das Hotel als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in der Region gebucht. Bereits bei der Ankunft wurden wir positiv von der schönen Lage direkt am Waldrand überrascht. Bei 2 Abendessen und 2 Frühstücken haben wir uns sowohl über den netten und persönlichen Service gefreut und auch das Essen war super lecker und regional gehalten. Das Zimmer war angenehm geräumig. Insgesamt war das Hotel Außen wie Innen gepflegt und sauber.

Uriges Hotel am Waldrand

Alle Persnen im SErvice waren sehr zuvorkommend, immer zu einem Gespräch bereit. Nur das Zimmer war etwas enttäuschend, ziemlich klein und nur ein Fenster zu öffnen. Das Bad war auch relativ klein, so dass man sich nicht zu zweit dort aufhalten konnte. Die Lage war einmalig, direkt am Waldrand, mit bequemen Wegen.
