"There was construction going on and all the workers were using the elevators so it took a very long time to go up and down. The ac was also not working and the room was very hot"

"I stayed in a renovated room and had no complaints. AC was great, space was large and comfortable. The hotel is right next to a convenient bus stop. It does take about 25 minutes to get to the train station by bus, and it's a fair distance from Old Town. Breakfast wasn't worth the money, but it was convenient. Overall I would stay here, just have an idea of where you want to visit to know if this location is convenient."

"Booked last minute. Perfect for a weekend stopover whilst travelling. Pool added bonus. Breakfast service to order and collect fresh pastries is ideal. External lights outside room not working so was a bit dark but thought this might be to reduce bugs. Suggestion for couple or chairs or bench nr table tennis table. Beds comfortable apartment had everything needed, some furnishings looked a bit well used. Balcony a perfect treat to sit on, was very hot when we visited a large fan was provided which worked well until we had to close doors at bedtime, a second fan for the bed room may have been of help but still with such hot weather it was just moving hot air about. Perfect location for walking into the village where there are plenty of places to eat just be mindful if you go on Sunday as less options as lots where closed for food."

"I had a pleasant stay at Novotel Freiburg. The hotel offers a comfortable environment, clean and spacious rooms, and a professional service experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall check-in and stay experience was smooth. The room was well maintained and provided all the essentials for a relaxing stay. I appreciated the quiet atmosphere and the quality of service provided by the team. Thank you to the staff for the hospitality. I would consider staying at Novotel Freiburg again on my next visit."

"Parking at this hotel is a bit tricky. The back lot filled up very quickly and there was no in/out availability after they closed the gate at midnight. Hotel itself was good. Had a fridge with cold Alsace water (complimentary) waiting for us after we check in. Staff was friendly. Room was a good size. We booked a deluxe room with 1 double bed and 2 twin beds. One of the twin beds was a pull out bed from the couch. It was fine but if the person sleeping on it was taller it would have been a bit of an issue."
