"Was a nice place as it a golf club and spa thought it would be quite but our weekend they had a load of kit sport cars and on both Saturday and Sunday there where outside reviving the car engine from 6 :30 in the morning so wasn’t relaxing at all which was a shame cos it was beautiful hotel and grounds"

"There’s a strange way of getting to some of the rooms where you have to go downstairs before eventually climbing back up. The hotel itself is very well maintained although I’d wonder if the golf course sometimes takes a little of the priority."

"The location was easy to find using satnav and the access is very easy. There is ample parking in a quiet location. An unusual feature is that all rhe rooms are purpose built modern units detached from the much older public house part which also houses the restaurant. There is also a beer garden area with some shade. The benefit of this layout is that there are no staircases or lifts to navigate to get to your room. My room was exceptionally large, and my first impression was how cool it felt...

"Loved the children’s free ice or fruit . Children’s play area at breakfast. Dog friendly. Loved the warm pool and hot tub. I’m diabetic and had a low blood sugar. The man at the pool helped me . The lady at the bar read the list of about 15 favourers of ice cream . She was lovely. We had stay for funeral in the area . Would stay again"

"I cannot leave more than 2 stars because there is no on-site coin laundry machine, and none in walking distance. Staff was excellent; my room didn't have a mini-fridge, but they were willing to let me put food into their private one in staff break room. Room #16 had no WIFI signal reception (The closest AP is about 60m away). Long term luggage storage service available on site via Stasher"

"The location is great as it is very central to the town. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. Very clean room which had everything that I needed for a comfortable stay. Lovely cooked breakfast, too. "

"The hotel is in an excellent position, just off a main road, but on a quiet lane. 15 mins walk in to town. Rooms are modern with aircon, tea, coffee etc. What really makes the hotel excellent is the staff, from the cleaners, bar staff, receptionist, they were so genuinely helpful and friendly. We had a lovely stay, thank you."

"The staff were just the best and couldn’t do enough to accommodate you. We were lucky to stay in one of the new rooms with access to the garden. The room and facilities were perfect for a 2 and a 5 year old, we’ll certainly be coming back again"

"I came back and am booked to come back again! Feel really welcome: my dog was immediately drawn in by Bella, the new addition to the Griffin household. It's the atmosphere here, the good quality food, the Battle of Britain ale, good dog-walking nearby, then team running the place, their location in the middle of Norfolk - great breakfast (thanks Charlotte), cooked to order. Rather than list superlatives, I should just recommend that you go and try them out - very good value for money, dog...

"There isn't anything I liked . The hotel was awful, staff unhelpful even after we complained. The manger was useless and unhelpful. The shower was broken bed side cabinet was also broken . Draw stuck out the side of bed . It would not close . I kept catching my leg on it . The headboard was dirty . The stairs was very steep. Not the best hotel. won't stay again . Meals was awful .
