"Had a wonderful stay at Anchorage, it’s such a fantastic location. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. Great communication from the hosts and everything went very smoothly in terms of checking in/checking out. Would definitely recommend this place and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again."

"A lovely old grade 2 listed house. Excellent location for Poole Quay and harbour. Parking in visitor’s public car park just across the road. Overnight parking is very reasonable. David was a fabulous host with plenty of stories to tell and the house is full of interesting “stuff” that he has collected. Delicious breakfast cooked to order. Our room on the second floor was very small and hot, but the others are bigger. Best to ask David before you book. Would definitely stay again."

"Great location, clean and comfortable room, friendly staff, nice toiletries and great selection of coffee and teas. Great food and drinks available onsite. Ideas for improvement- larger fridge, the fridge is tiny - other than the free water that is provided you can’t fit anything more in there. Robes would be nice as well as body lotion or hand cream in the bathroom."

"Bit of an issue getting into the property as we arrived quite late but thought the pub would still be open. Sorted out quickly without a problem though. Room was really good, comfortable, clean with all we needed for a good night's sleep. Owner seems to have considered what was required really well. Breakfast was excellent & catered for all tastes. Staff friendly & helpful. Would stay again."

"Great location for this hotel in centre of Corfe Castle with parking which is a plus as the village doesn’t have many places to park. We booked a garden room for two nights and were a little disappointed as the garden rooms are all described as spacious and within their own walled garden. "Fabulous modern Miami themed hotel the beds are super comfortable and Aircon which is very much needed this weekend. The staff was so friendly and helpful proper service with a smile and all very engaging. Fabulous view of the sea and a gorgeous pool. My only criticism was filling the kettle in the modern sink difficult !"

"No breakfast available despite being listed as such. Previous reviews mention staff but there were none. Room was fairly clean and comfortable. Entry via key code which means the same code for the main door and the room door - has someone unlock my room when I was in it. Not very safe and very poor for the money. Would not recommend. "
