Location on Map is Misleading!

The Hotels.com map showed this hotel on Songbei Blvd just north across the river from the Snow and Ice Festival. This is false. The hotel is several kilometers to the northwest of that location and not at all convenient to the festival grounds. Otherwise, the hotel facility is good, and the staff was responsive to my requests (even with my limited Mandarin).

Nice hotel but service can be improved

Service is quite slow because they were short staffed. But considering the peak festive season they should have planned for more as the hotel was fully booked. Ordered for extra blankets and pillows but didn’t come though we waited till mid night. So we had to ask them to make sure they deliver it the next day as the room was quite cold though we have adjusted it to the max. In room dining was slow as well and had missing and wrong items brought. We had to tell them that there were missing items from the set and was eventually reluctantly topped up.

ENtirely Satisfactory Stay

Despite poor reviews by others we found the hotel to be entirely satisfactory in all respects. We had a suite on the 22nd floor which was very comfortable. The service in the Club Lounge was excellent and the dinner and breakfast buffets were pretty good. Main drawback is that the hotel is some distance from the main attractions of Harbin but taxis are cheap and readily available.

overall really good, although i dont get why they dont have creamy in the room and expected me to pay for milk. I wanted to make some tea and coffee in the room but ended up not having any.

Choose a neighboring hotel.

Air conditioning broken in the hotel for the duration of my stay. Staff lied about it for the whole time until admitting it was broken in the whole hotel on my last night. Gym equipment limited, and in poor condition considering the age of the hotel. Sauna doesn't work and whole change room smells like fermented urine. Breakfast poorly cooked and left me feeling sick all day. There are 10 other hotels in this neighbourhood and I cant imagine any being worse. I wont be returning and others should think twice about staying at this property. Oh ya, staff also refused to honour my IHG Ambassador status as they said they were not associated with the chain. What kind of Crowne Plaza is this??

Hot and no air conditioning

Check-in was easy. The several of the front desk staff were fluent in English. The room was nicely appointed. The bed was comfortable. However, the air conditioning was not working. The room was 25C when I arrived and within an hour, it had risen to 27C. I complained about it twice and after an hour, a technician came and poked the vent with a screw driver. He gave me a big smile and thumbs up, then left. After an hour, the temperature was still at 27. I complained a third time before I went out for dinner. When I returned late, I found that nothing had been done. I waited until morning and complained once more. The front desk staff tried changing rooms (finally), but the air conditioning in the new room also did not work. A technician came to the room and explained that it was set between 22 and 24C. So, according to him, everything was working fine, and he refused to do anything. This was odd since my first room was at 27 and this second room was at 25. At this point, I asked for my reservation to be cancelled and my money to be returned. The services that I had paid for were not being provided. Another guest spoke to me and said that the air conditioning in this hotel is very poor.

町の中心部からだとタクシーで30元から40元必要です。 15分ぐらいです。新興マンション、住宅街に囲まれています。

Nice hotel, with great staff!

On a whole the hotel was great, with very helpful staff. We only had one issue in that we were unable to change the air conditioning in the room, which meant that it was very hot throughout the night!

Front Desk Service Leaves Much to Be Desired

Check in service was horrible. The Front Desk staff could not be bothered to check-in guests and claimed she was busy with other paperwork when there was clearly a queue building up behind the front desk. (Behind me were 2 to 3 others). I waited for at least 20 minutes after a 6 hour long flight before I was attended to. Apart from that the hotel was new and in good condition. Stayed there one night in the last week of December 2017. A service robot brought the additional amenities and water when I called for some, which was pretty cool. If check-in can be done by the service robot, I am sure the service would improve dramatically. The location was somehow close to Harbin Ice and Snow world but still you would need to be take a car (about 20 mins drive). It is about 400 meters away from Wanda indoor ski slope and Wanda mall but it is not connected so you would need to walk outdoors which in winter can be pretty cold and windy (minus 20 degrees in the night without windchill) Rooms were well appointed, shower was as your would expect from a 5 star hotel. Downsides: The heating was far too hot. It was 27 degrees in the room and the temperature could not be adjusted. The soundproof was terrible and you can hear a couple fighting next door or out in the corridor.

Good location for Wanda Ice World

Good and clean place. No smoking enviroment. Easy transportation from Airport. But our rooms (20F) has air-conditioner problem. It can't be cool down under 26 degree Celcius. We have to open the window to cool down at the night.
