"While a little outdated, this was very affordable and within 10 to 15 minutes of what we wanted to see and do in Portland. There is an outside pool, and a light breakfast. You need to ask for housekeeping if you want it, but the bed was comfortable after exploring and walking all day it was fine. Probably the most reasonable place to stay. "

"We didn’t really need the sofa/office area of the room but was nice separation to have when one was ready to go to bed before the other. Sofa smelled a little smoky…and bathroom was a little dated. Also some noise from freeway traffic and some random hallway noise. Breakfast and coffee were great. Would stay again."

"Fantastic place to stay when visiting Portland. The location can't be beat -- within a couple of blocks to the ferry terminal and Old Town shops and restaurants. The building is next to a police station and my family and I felt very safe. The unit was immaculate, modern, and fully equipped. Onsite parking was a huge bonus, as was the friendly and helpful staff. I would, without hesitation, stay at The Docent's Collection again."
