"We arrived with a family of five for four nights to use the resort as a base between day trips. Check-in was easy and they were able to get our rooms in the same building. The kids loved both pools, the rooms were clean and it was a nice area to walk around in the morning before it got hot. Make sure you drive down to the marina bar for cocktails or a snack, it's a much different view from the main resort. We had a parent date night in the Rainbow room with Mitch, who gave us some great tips for hiking the next day and went back on our last night as a special treat for the kids. The casual bar/grill off the lobby pool also had friendly staff, great drinks (Lavender Lemon Drop!) and good food. The lake water is low but we were able to do everything we wanted, including a boat ride and private fishing excursion. We will be back!"
