"Comfy easy access room with walk-in shower, very helpful staff. Surprisingly quiet given it was Eater Saturday night. EV charger parking spot was occupied for many hours by a non-electric vehicle and the adjacent spot occupied by an EV which was not on charge. Staff said they were not responsible for its use."

"The room was clean and spacious, but unfortunately the bedding had stains, and the toilet, bathroom, and floors were not cleaned. The bath drain was also blocked, something the hotel already seems aware of, as I later saw similar complaints in online reviews. It was disappointing to realise we had been given a room with an issue that had clearly been reported before. The staff were also quite unfriendly and unwelcoming. "Stayed here for 1 night, didn’t know what to expect, but from walking into the hotel, the lady receptionist was lovely and really went above and beyond (thank you), and the hotel room was great—had everything me and my child needed. Would defo stay here again if I needed to. "

"Had a great stay atvyhe Hurtwood. Found it by chance. Great village with plenty of walking direct in to the Surrey Hills as directed by the lovely lady who checked us in. Room very comfortable with fresh milk provided. We found the car park easy for a big car, but would not be so easy in season I think. Dinner in the bar was excellent and good portions. Breakfast cooked to order also great. Will go again. Thank you."

"Room was very dusty and was hot as sauna . Tv remote extremely dirty/sticky . No bottled water . Shower blocked . Toilet flush button broken . Food very expensive and not tasty . You have to pay service charge !!!! As a guest !!!Shame"

"Hotel is easy to locate and convenient for access to motorway (M25) and into Reigate centre where I found a car charger and a curry house and other shops. Reception were welcoming, had to take luggage and golf clubs up a flight of stairs then to end of corridor, no lift I could see. Inconvenient but wouldn't be great for someone with less mobility. Room was a good size, bathroom clean. Shower gels etc provided as was tea, coffee, biscuits. All was dated in appearance though, from downstairs bar...

"Everything was excellent. Staff who expertly served a table of 24, courteous, efficient, polite. Food was amazing. Room was outstanding. All staff were lovely, approachable and helpful. Added bonus was a welcome for breakfast and more delicious food. Absolutely stunning all round"
