The bed was very comfy and I had such a good sleep. The outside noise was honestly minimal and did not bother me at all. Yes the place is older but everything was big. Loads of space and facilities were good. Shower had good pressure. My car was in the car park and was very safe Price was good and so close to all the shops and garden place.

Stayed one night. Don't include the "buffet breakfast" in reservation. There isn't one. Instead we were offered a $20something granola from a 24/7 café down the road. It was excessively sweet with minimal granola. Our room was rather grand and very clean with comfortable bed and great shower. The reception and back entrance are dirty and plain. Staff very clueless- esp ones contacted over phone. $35 for cot.

My overall experience was very pleasant. From the outside, the building appears a little dated, but once inside, the atmosphere is completely different. The room was welcoming, comfortable, and had a homely feel, which made for a relaxing stay. The room itself was clean, spacious, and well presented. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They were particularly accommodating when I asked for directions to Woolworths and were happy to provide guidance. One minor observation was that the lift had a slight odour at times, which made it feel as though there may have been limited ventilation. Additionally, while walking to my room on the second floor, I noticed some sections of the hallway flooring were a little creaky. It wasn't a major issue, but I found myself walking a bit more carefully out of consideration for other guests. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and appreciated the friendly service, comfortable room, and welcoming atmosphere. I would happily stay here again.

The back entrance from the parking shed was dirty and had a divey feel to it. The room was lovely and warm and the decor was Elizabethan, some may find that dated. The parking was a bit tricky if your vehicle was 4WD. Like the convenience of food places handy to the accomodation and it was surprisingly quiet for being located on Hamilton's Main Street.

Love the 20s-vibe of the furnishings and the vastness of its rooms - even the smallest room has space for an extra bed or two! The larger rooms are like a suite! And being central its great for restaurants and cafes just outside the door. This is our go-to hotel in the Tron every time :)

My first impression as I entered the premise from the car parking area at the rear was less to be desired, but the room itself had character, and I admired the antique furniture (need placemats/coasters to protect the table from cup stains etc) Observations were and I'm going to be straight up. It was outdated and had a musty smell! A fresh lick of paint and removing the carpet in the foyers to the rooms may fix the issue. The bed is on like a step up stage thing, which could potentially cause an injury if waking up disorientated from a night out at the local clubs. The elevator a little bumpy, but better than using the steep stairs which were confusing to find. Positives were the overall layout of the terrace suite was spacious and comfortable for an overnight trip, the spa bath and big swivel TV was a bonus! Staff were very helpful and friendly, everything was well explained by the manager, it was central and in a prime location and the bond was returned promptly. A bit of a mixed review but, overall I would rate the property as a 6/10. I recommend the stay if your on a budget and need access to the central city.
