"We stayed here for a week while attending our 60th class reunion, and it was a wonderful experience. "I booked a two-night stay at this hotel while traveling with my family from Alabama to Kentucky for a graduation, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. When I arrived, no one was at the front desk. After ringing the bell, an employee came out but did not greet me. She immediately asked for my last name and a $100 incidental deposit. She also failed to provide basic information, such as breakfast hours, which I had to ask about since I was traveling with young children. After receiving my room keys, I had to ask how to get to my room.After a seven-hour drive, we finally reached our room only to discover that neither key worked. I returned to the front desk, rang the bell again, and was told the keys were not for my room. The employee explained that someone else makes the keys and she simply hands them out.The next day, I noticed a $75 charge on my bank account. When I questioned it, I was told there were blue stains on the sheets. My son had eaten blue Takis, but I found it concerning that I was charged before any discussion, especially since the hotel was already holding a $100 deposit. I was then told the charge should have been $25, not $75. Despite this mistake, there was little empathy or accountability shown. Although my bank reversed the $75 charge, my $100 deposit has still not been released, and I was charged an additional $25. Between the poor customer service, key issues, and billing problems, I do not recommend!!!!!"

" The staff member checking me in was so kind and helpful. The linens and main room were clean, the water pressure was great, however, the bathroom looked terrible! Mold on the bathroom floor and in all the corners of the shower, the bottom of the tub was all brown and cracked, the piles of caulk couldn’t hide the large areas of separation from the wall. The curtains were ripped, like an animal attacked them. The hallway wreaked of smoke, and there were bleach stains all over the carpet. I wouldn’t even think of getting the included breakfast there. This corporation should be ashamed that the property with their name on it, is in such bad shape. "

"Microwave did not work. When we tried to use it it sparked and caught fire. When we notified the front desk they said they would bring up a replacement and never did. Breakfast was advertised but there was no breakfast, just coffee and juice. Bed was extremely comfortable as were the pillows. The mini fridge needed cleaning but overall it wasn't a terrible stay."
