Exceptional stay

I had an amazing experience at this hotel from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always ready to assist with a smile. My room was spotless, spacious, and well-appointed with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was super cozy, and I slept like a dream. The location was perfect—close to major attractions, restaurants, and public transport. I also really appreciated the quiet atmosphere despite being so central. Overall, the attention to detail and quality of service made this a memorable stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and will definitely stay again!

From the minute, I arrived, the staff were very engaged, helpful and supportive. The taxi driver would not take a credit card for payment, which has never happened to me in Germany and the concierge didn’t miss a beat and just went out and paid for it so I could get settled into my room. I would definitely recommend this hotel for the people, the location in the overall layout of the hotel.

Nice clean hotel. Close to everything. Depending on price I would stay again. Sauna is very nice. Gym isn’t very good. Not much weights. Parking not included. Cost $34euros a day. Expensive for sure. 25 min from airport.

Breakfast was amazing

Firstly, the location was perfect for us. We landed at Hamburg and one direct train took us to within 2 minute walk to the front door. It is close to the alt stadt and harbour area, which we frequented, but it is actually quite central to a lot of stuff. The hotel was very nice. Check in was a breeze and the room was a good size with everything that we needed. The only negative, it was quite a warm room, but hindsight, i think there was some temperature control we could have played around with! But the best part about the stay was the breakfast buffet in the morning. There was so much choice, catering for every food choice. And if you like a bit of fizz to start your morning, that was also an option. It is worth paying for the breakfast. It was wortb every penny!! If going back, we would stay here again.

Nice and well located hotel. Rooms very clean and modern. Booking via Ebookers worked more badly than right, as umlauts in the name were not transmitted. Therefore, the booking was not found at the reception at first. We were also initially given the wrong room with single beds instead of a double bed. However, the problem was solved.

Your IT system is terrible. Your booking system on your website did not work when I booked, so I had to use Expedia instead. You offer hi speed wifi to H Rewards members, but the registration didn't work. Your staff admitted that it doesn't work. So I had to use slow wifi speed like a non-member. Your electronic key cards failed to operate the lift. Your staff said this is happening to most guests. So every time that we wanted to go up to our room, we had to get help from staff, who were not immediately available. I am not impressed. Your Berlin hotel Am Kanzleramt was much better. Your central Hamburg hotel is poorly managed and the IT people should be fired.

Beliggenheden er helt i top i forhold til centrum. Havde lidt udfordringer i forbindelse med tjek ind, da det bestilte værelse ikke var ledigt pga. overbelægning og vi derfor blev nedgraderet til et andet værelse. Morgenmaden var fin, men havde forventet noget mere ift. at der er tale om et 5 stjernet hotel. Det var tydeligt for os at servicen var dårligere fordi opholdet var booket via Expedia. Vi mærkede en tydelig forskel på hvordan gæster blev serviceret.
