"Unfortunately the cleaning staff did not have rooms and cabins available for check-in and many guests were delayed check in on the forth of July weekend for 3-4 hours. The front desk clerk Working was left on her own by all other staff to navigate some angry and unreasonable guests, not fair to her as she had no answers or management on site and no control over the fact that the cleaning staff didn’t show up and we’re not answering their phones. Once we were checked in we were provided restaurant vouchers."

"Checkin was very easy. Room was very clean. Hallway smelled a bit like strong vs spices but the rooms smelled fine. Could have been a guest bringing back smelly food. Wry close to downtown area and World Championship Derby. Would stay there again."

"What a special place! We extended our stay for an additional night because we were enjoying ourselves. Our room by the tennis courts was clean and comfortable. The view of the water from the property was beautiful. Convenient restaurant and bar on site. The access to Dollar Lake made for a sweet morning walk. The staff were very friendly and obviously working so hard to make sure everyone was having the best stay! We look forward to another stay at Chanticleer in the future!"
