"The grounds of the house is beautiful. We wondered around and even walked through the cornfield. The staff was Excellent and went out of their way for anything we needed. My college student son even took his final online exam in the Library which is over 200 years old and the staff gave him a pitcher of water, cookies and a Good Luck note. Best kept secret in the areas."

"Lovely location, rooms and buildings. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and the gardens and park are gorgeous. Welcome and service excellent. We stayed after a visit to Longleat and it was the perfect relaxing stop after a busy day. Only thing that could have made it better would have been if food and drinks were available there in the evening, the cafe closes at 5. We drove to Frome and had an excellent meal in Little Walcot. "
"The hotel was excellent for access to local attractions. As it did not offer dinner or breakfast there were several places ranging in price to obtain food very nearby. Staff excellent and friendly ready to help. Bonus for us was we were able to take our dogs. "
"We booked for the secure parking as it was a stop off on our holiday trip, highly recommend if this is important for your trip. Parking and breakfast included in the price of the room too, making the stay a bargain. The 2 ladies serving Breakfast were brilliant and we left feeling very welcomed and positive due to their good spirit and hospitality, thankyou! We also ate in the pub on the evening and food was excellent with good portions. Would definitely stay again "
"Sadly we weren’t staying very long. Just the one night and we had to head straight to the wedding we were attending. So we didn’t see our room until after midnight. The key was in the door so nice and easy access. Breakfast was fabulous. Much needed after a boozy wedding. The room was cute and comfortable. Love the fully tiled bathroom. Sorry no photos as didn’t have a chance. Beautiful location too. "
