"This hotel is in a good location (walking distance from the train station and market). Everything was clean and as described. We were able to store our luggage since we arrived before check in. Nice perk that there's an ice cream shop in the lobby."
"A little away from town center and train station but street cars go to property. Hotel nice and beds good but the bathroom is small and hard to use. Great price for in suite room with kitchenette and balcony. The breakfast are excellent and well priced to select that option"
"The location is brilliant - right across from the JR station and parking right next door (¥700 per night self parking so unlimited entry/exit). Very good for local restaurants, the morning market and close to tram stop to visit other attractions in the local area.
The room was clean and comfortable, with a smart TV installed. The pillows weren’t great for us but not too bad.
We had breakfast at the buffet each day and it was fresh and tasty. Loved them having local Hakodate yoghurt and milk products. That was a lovely touch!
My only downside of the whole experience was at check in the staff were busy so the attentions wasn’t there. I went to approach the desk after waiting in line and was rudely told to wait for a self check in station instead. It didn’t worry me to use one - however it was a little confusing as it only allowed me to scan 2 passports out of our 4 guests so then I wasn’t able to ask questions about the breakfast vouchers and additional charges it insisted I pay for. Just would have been nice to have the staff be there for that to make the experience smoother.
The breakfast staff were always lovely!"
"After a few busy days in Tokyo, it was a nice change of pace to be in Hakodate. The hotel is in a great location that’s walking distance from the train station. And also to the brick warehouse shopping area and fish market. We also used the onsen at the hotel. It’s included in your stay. It was our very first time for our family. We didn’t know there was a little tote bag we could take up with us to the onsen. Also remember to bring a towel from your room. I wanted to book a massage but it was fully booked. You have to pay separately for the massage. Rates were very reasonable. Plan ahead next time. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet which was excellent. They are famous for the seafood parfait with ikura, shrimp, salmon, tuna. There’s also Wagyu too at the breakfast. Definitely worth it for around $23 usd per person. We would definitely come back again."
"All good, excellent location for exploring Hakodate. Staff recommended Times parking although there were cheaper options closer. Some minor damage to walls in rooms/bathroom stop this place form being excellent. A fine stay but nothing special, all good!"
"Very convenient, next to the Sapporo train station but still quiet and convenient to walk around. Also has a small shopping strip as part of the building. Also has a carpark about JPY800/night.
Room was standard and clean. Amenities were good."
