Stay here for the Best of Early 20th CenturyJapan!

We waited 5 years to stay here and this delightful inn did not disappoint! Wild pink roses grow up the brick wall outside the door in a subtle nod to the charming 1920s Queen Anne parlor style furniture in the lobby. There are vintage Japanese accents, nature themed paintings and dried florals that complete the decor throughout the boarding house style inn. Our cozy room was done in autumn shades of Laura Ashley type florals. And, yes, the red vintage telephone in the photo is how to call the front desk! The two twin beds were comfortable. Our private bath contained the most luscious lavender shampoo and conditioner. The body wash made our skin as soft and smooth as silk. Our host and staff were welcoming and kind. Non-Japanese speaking will have no problem. We opted for no housekeeping and found a basket outside our door each day containing fresh towels, kimonos, and an assortment of the items travelers run out of, lose or forget. We will be back! Thank you Pension Puppy Tail!

一開始覺得房子外觀似乎是很舊的，但飯店主人盡心的維持，整潔度很高，窗戶也可以打開，尤其他們家的貓真是太可愛了，房間裡面衛浴非常的新穎，房間窗戶可以打開這個我最喜歡… 離JR函館站走路5分鐘就可以到，非常方便 整個感覺蠻溫馨的有家的感覺，最後當我們check out離開的時候，應該是老闆娘，還送我們一包日本在地的點心，很用心的包裝，真是太開心了

전반적으로 매우 만족스러운 숙소였습니다. 하코다테역에서 도보로 얼마 걸리지 않는 곳에 있어 움직이기 편합니다.숙소 바로 앞에는 편의점이 없지만 하코다테역 옆에 있는 로손, 또는 동쪽으로 좀 들어가면 나오는 세븐일레븐을 이용하시면 좋습니다. 직원 분들이 모두 친절하셔서 기분 좋게 묵고 갈 수 있었습니다. 리셉션 보시는 분이 영어도 가능하셔서 소통에 불편함을 겪지도 않았습니다. 화장실은 남녀 모두 2층에 있지만 공용 목욕탕은 목욕탕은 여탕은 2층, 남탕은 1층에 위치해 있습니다. 목욕탕의 넓이가 꽤 좁아서 모르는 사람과 함께 씻기에 편할 정도의 거리를 확보할 수는 없었습니다. 또 세탁기는 구비되어 있지만 건조기가 없으므로 인근 빨래방을 이용하셔야 합니다. 제공되는 비품 중에 유카타가 있으니 참고하시면 좋겠습니다. 장롱에 이불이 더 있었지만 저는 기본으로 나와 있는 침구로도 충분히 푹신해서 더 꺼내지는 않았습니다. 체크아웃을 할 때 자그마한 과자를 종류별로 선물해 주시면서 일본어로 인사를 해 주셨습니다. 제 일본어 실력이 미숙해서 잘 알아듣지는 못했지만 그래도 덕분에 따뜻한 마음으로 하코다테를 떠날 수 있었습니다.

オーナー含め、対応してくださったスタッフの方々皆様が丁度よい暖かさの対応をしてくださった。到着時のスモールトークも長すぎず短すぎず、絶妙なバランスでした。チェックイン前もチェックアウト後も　荷物を預かってくださり、大変快適に旅ができました。又、防音効果なのか宿泊客のマナーなのかは分かりませんが、ほとんど誰も泊まっていないのではないかと思うくらい静かに過ごさせていただきました。朝チェックアウトされる方が多かったのでびっくりしました！清掃も行き届いていて、函館に来たらまた泊まりたいです！

看板猫ちゃんがいるお宿です。　 駅からの立地も良く、可愛らしい内装のお部屋はまた泊まりに行きたくなります。　 共有のお風呂ですが毎朝あつあつのお湯を頂きました。　 脱衣室にはクレンジング、化粧水、乳液も揃っています。 廊下には女性専用洗面台があり、ドライヤーは部屋ごとに置いてありますので気兼ねなく使えました。 女子トイレはなんともないのですが、なぜか男子トイレ前が少し匂う点だけが気になりました。

房間乾淨、老闆親切，很棒的民宿

老闆非常親切，英文很好，房間在二樓 房間寬敞乾淨很舒服，每天都會提供乾淨的毛巾和浴衣 浴室也很大，還有提供不同的洗髮精沐浴乳可以選擇喜歡的😄 Check out 的時候老闆還給我一包小零食，好吃😋 地點方便，函館車站出來直走到巴士站左轉，然後直走很快就到了，附近很多吃的很方便
