Comfortable hotel near Cat Ba town

Comfortable hotel near Cat Ba town, with good views of the bay, and out of sight of the building work in town. We had a one night stay before a boat trip on Lan Ha and Halong Bays. Friendly staff, nice breakfast, effective Aircon, and comfortable bed, although slightly limited choice of nearby restaurants.

Very happy with our stay at Dung Lai. Our room was spacious, clean and modern. The hotel staff are adorable and so helpful, we loved the one day trekking tour we booked through them. No complaints!

The best hotel ive stayed in so far on my trip to vietnam. Trung the receptionist was so helpful, I wish all were as good as him. He goes the extra mile and genuine service. The hotel was spotless and my room spacious with a great view of the bay, especially sunrise in the morning rising above one of the islet peaks. I would definitely recommend this hotel for someone who prefers a quieter location away from the main town and very close to the cruise boat harbour. 5 stars from me

This hotel is just outside of cat ba town. to go out for dinner in the evening involves a bit of a walk up a hill into town. It is down in the harbor where you catch the boats to go to Halong Bay. It is immaculate. the breakfast is served to you. It is not an all you can eat breakfast but it is certainly sufficient. But if. you want an extra coffee, they want to charge you for it. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only downside to this hotel is the distance to downtown and the wet shower. You can arrange your boat trip, rent a scooter, and rent a bus out of town all from the front desk.

The hotel was clean, fantastic view over the bay. Nothing was too much trouble for Trung who looked after us. He organised 2 great trips for us picked up front hotel. Breakfast also included it was basic but given the overall cost of the stay it was a top value for money. Not the Ritz clearly but totslly adequate. Peaceful sleep.

Sehr sauberes, großzügiges Zimmer mit bequemen Betten und tollem Blick auf die Bucht. Absolut angenehme Eigentümerfamilie, immer ansprechbar, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Hotel liegt strategisch günstig für Touren in die Halong Bucht und für einen kleinen Fußmatsch nach Cat Ba Town. Ausgesprochen gutes Preis-Leidungsverhältnis.
