"Palazzo Písaní is a nice little place, full of character and charm. Alexis, the owner is a very charming host. Breakfast in the courtyard amongst the lemon trees is wonderful start into the day. Fellow travellers, be aware however that this is not a five-star hotel. The boutique 'feel' didn't extend to the room. Our Deluxe room was quite small (though probably as advertised), and overal quite uncomfortable - there was minimum of storage space to unpack and the bed was hard and not comfy at all....

"Lovely unique hotel. Staff were amazingly helpful. Our room was clean. Breakfast was excellent. The rooftop terrace was absolutely wonderful with an honesty bar so you can have a drink while you enjoy the view. Only thing to be aware of is the shower gel and teas and coffees in the room didn’t seem to be replenished every day."

"Cute little boutique with th friendliest staff"

"Beautifully presented boutique hotel Friendly, welcoming staff Delicious breakfasts Excellent location for walking around and exploring Rabat and the beautiful walled city Mdina, especially at night Great location for exploring the rest of the island of Malta"

"We spent 1.5 hours sitting on the front stoop waiting to get into the unit. We called and was told we had to pay a 100 euro for deposit and a 7 euro for eco fee before giving the lockbox code to the unit. We said no problem - until we couldn't figure out how to pay the fees to Expedia. Out of frustration we called and told the owner or person on the phone we didn't have a problem paying it, however there is no way to pay the fee. The answer was " I guess I'll trust you", and she gave us the code...

"This place was as neat as it appears in the photos, for sure it was contactless. It was my first time using a code to enter a hotel. This place didn’t disappoint because they made sure they gave me clear instructions in the emails. Very efficient. Thank you and will recommend this property to others."

"This brand new hotel was absolutely perfect! Just recently opened and they couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful to a couple of stranded senior travellers. We were so lucky to have found them. The manager Winston was welcoming and kind. Amy planned the perfect afternoon out for us that ended up turning a really stressful situation(multiple cancelled flights) into one of our best days in Malta! The beds are comfy, the breakfast is good, and the pool is refreshing."

"Room is very clean and its condition is good. Staff members are so kind and friendly. Great location. Good value for money. Environment is beautiful and neighbor is quiet. Wonderful stay in a nice city."
