"We were very pleased with our stay at Rival!! All the staff were very helpful and friendly. NIcodemus checked us in and reviewed the key areas of the city. He would often , as we were coming and going, to see if we needed help, always with a smile. The hotel was super clean and spacious. Great location. We could walk most places or take a ferry. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we’ve had in our travels. We highly recommend Rival and would not hesitate to stay here again."

"Absolutely lovely small hotel, with an elegant and comfortable bar and multiple common areas on every floor. Room are spacious and cozy. Location is perfect. Avoid 5th floor due to slopped ceiling over the bed and smaller windows. I hit my head at night pretty hard on the slope, but that was the only flaw. Breakfast is great. Would definitely stay here again (just on a lower floor :)."

"Hôtel rénové très bien situé face à la gare T centralen avec au pied 1 accès métro, aurait le max d'étoiles si l'on n'essayait pas d'attribuer aux singles la plus incommodante des chambres, avec 20 cm autour du lit, 1 penderie de 50cm sur 70 de hauteur, sans siège ni espace bureau, sombre, étouffante, alors qu'on a réservé et payé pour 10 jours. Sous couvert d'être 1 cadeau, avec 1 lit en 140. Changement obtenu pour 1 vraie single sous les toits lit Moelleux en 120 cm mais enfin de quoi pendre...

The owner/property manager (maybe both?) is very helpful and hospitable. The location is just blocks from the Mariatorget Metro which is very easy to access from the airport and can take you to other lines. "Downtime Camper is a really cool hotel. Very well located a few mins off the main central square and 10 or 12 mins walk from the old town and waterfront. It’s also a 10 min walk from the airport bus drop off/pick up at central station. The rooms are a good size, very clean (they ask you how often you want them serviced) well laid out and equipped with everything needed.
