The property was beautiful. Great views , friendly staff, and so peaceful on top of the mountain. We stayed two nights. It was so relaxing. We can't wait to go back.

It has a beautiful view of the lake. The A/C was very cold. We had 2 issues but it would not Affect us from going back. The carpet had stains and caused our dog to itch. The representative at the front desk states they will be pulling up the carpet. The other issue is with the A/C being too cold. We tried to raise the temperature but it went down. We turned it off as a suggestion and then turned it back on and that seemed to work. Again, spoke to the front desk and she stated they were having a problem with the cooling unit. The food in the restaurant was good and the pool was great. I would recommend staying here.

Best surprise ever! We enjoyed the outstanding views, the drive up to the lodge and the staff were beyond hospitable with a wonderful southern charm. One of our best vacations ever. We will definitely be back with our family!

Property was a little worn. Carpets were stained and mostly smelling. They couldn’t change us to another room even tho they had the space due to booking through Expedia which will never do again. Really no amenities. We traveled to find things to do. Sunset was the best part and view of lake if you went out on the public balcony

Since they Lodge failed to provide Expedia with a discrimination I called the Lodge to find out if the room was lakeside or street view and they said they had no rooms that fit the discrimination of the room I rented that were not lake view, except one that was a handicap/veterans room. I asked twice to make sure. It ended up, upon checking in, that they had no rooms that fit the discrimination with a lake view. So no lake view for someone who only wanted a lake view. I wanted a refund or to pay extra for a lake view but they were sold out of lake view rooms. The Lodge blamed the problem on Expedia and likewise Expedia said they could not refund or exchange rooms without the Lodges approval. In the end I blame the Lodge for not giving me or Expedia the lake view or street view information correctly so I could make my room decision based on correct information.
