Limited choice but very good Negative - high level of humidity in the room. - smell of humidity as well as mold - the mattress is really bad. Both of us ended up in the middle. Need to be changed asap - this was the most expensive hotel during our vacation and the worst one. "

"The place is truly a hidden gem. You feel like a guest in a home. It’s decorated beautifully. I normally struggle with sleeping in hotels but I was getting the best night sleep. The place has a coat feel even though it’s decorated like a place out of a magazine. All the staff were very helpful and extremely nice. I definitely recommend that you book your stay here. "The hotel is very close to the centre of Porto and the nightlife area. I was a little worried about the noise, but there wasnt any. The hotel was very quiet and the rooms lovely and clean. The rooms were very clean and well equipped. The staff were outstanding and could not have been more helpful, especially as were due to leave on teh day of the national strike and our travel plans were up in the air. "The location was great, but the rooms were tiny, with barely space to move around the bed. The bed was a sofa bed which, although comfortable, was a little offputting in a hotel room, and used up precious space. I would put this hotel in the hostel bracket at hotel prices."

The photos & description show a second or third floor unit with a private balcony and a large bedroom, we were put in a ground floor unit where the “private terrace” is simply a slightly fenced off section of the patio space open to all guests. Shower was moldy and the room smelled mildewed. There is no check in or concierge—everything is communicated to you via an AI chatbot. No concierge means bags can only be stored in paid lockers on-site...
