HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I’m normally not one to leave reviews but I had to for The Carriage House! Everything from the homey, relaxing feel to the great views was amazing! My friends and I wanted to extend our stay lol. We’re already planning another stay here for a summer trip! Also appreciated the host’s friendliness and ensuring we had an enjoyable experience. 10/10

Fantastic place! Just one issue.

This place was absolutely beautiful. It was spacious and clean and comfortable. I went with two friends who stayed in the beds in the loft upstairs while I took the master bedroom. Everything was really great about this place except for the shower. Although the clawfoot tub is aesthetically pleasing, it is really hard to take a shower in there and the water pressure is terrible. We were only there for two nights, but two of us did not wash our because of this issue. It’s also hard to just be in that small tub as it’s very tight in terms of space. This was really the only reason why I gave it four stars instead of five stars because the rest of it was so great. But it’s really hard to go away and not be able to wash your hair. I think the bathtub and showerhead need to be replaced. In addition, the water that comes out of the faucet is very salty, but I guess it just has to do with the area of Guilford? Luckily there is a water cooler provided for drinking water so that is great. Rebecca was very communicative and kind. We also really enjoyed the pool outside. We would love to return, but we really hope that the bathtub and showerhead are replaced!
