"Our stay at the Gran Cruz was really spectacular. Nestled in the historic river district, the room provided beautiful views of the river below. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Be prepared for music from the street but ended by 10:30 ensuring a good night sleep. Breakfast was delicious and the view just lovely. Highly recommend "

"The hotel was AMAZING! We stayed there for 7 nights late August, early September to celebrate our 30th anniversary. The staff were outstanding and we became good friends with Marta...we miss her! The location is perfect for Porto and our room view of the Cathedral was something we will never forget. We will defiantly travel from Canada to stay here again. Highly recommended!!!! "

"So this hotel is absolutely amazing. In order of importance: 1) It is extremely clean and well renovated (and I’m very picky). 2) The decor and design is stunning. We came around the holiday time and the Christmas decorations were like from a magazine. 3) The breakfast was delicious - lots of pound cakes, tarts, croissants, croquettes, yogurt, cereals, freshly squeezed juices, sourdough breads, fruits, etc. They also custom the eggs to your liking. 4) Customer service is top tier.
