Firewood areas nearby can have your own campfire chairs and smores provided hot tub is great pool is slightly heated and a workout area more then what required for camping but very welcoming
This was GLAMPING at its best. So fun, great pool, campfire, and tents. The staff was exceptional.
Bring your own pillow, would be the only thing I would change.
Love the surrey hotel. Great pool and awesome staff

This was a nice glampsite but a little rundown although i understand they experienced recent floods. But the tent and sleeping are were ok. Lots of walkable stores and restraurants. Nice staff too.
Such a fun experience! Beautiful pool and amazing staff. Wish we could have stayed longer and will certainly be back soon!

2ns stay in warmer month
Lovely place, nice pool area. Could use a little TLC and maintenance upgrades.
Chill, nice people tents equipped for glamping, love the fire pit .
Again would love to see a little maintenance in the property, doors for bathroom locking, extra shared grills and access to water for washing/sink or refilla el water station, etc.
Close to downtown
Its glamping at its finest. This place isnt a hotel, ots exactly what it describes. The town is a amazing, fun little town with cool vibe.its totally cool if you wanna go camping but sleep in a bed and have wifi and power, fan, refrigerator ect. Pool and cabanas are sweet, gym is top notch fully stocked. Its a great stay
Beautiful glamping experience. The beds were very comfortable. They provided electric blankets to keep you warm at night: it was cold in the tent but if you bring a beanie to sleep with and a sweater you’ll be ok. The pool are was so nice and loved having our own fire pit in front of the tent.

This is a very unique property. Glamping with cute tents and a nice pool! We will be back
My partner and I were lucky to be the only two people at the property, and I must admit the glamping experience was nothing short of magical. The mornings and nights were unforgettable, waking with birdsong and sunrise in the most natural way possible and gazing at clear starry night skies. Would recommend!
The property is amazing, the facilities were clean and well kept. The ONLY bad thing is the limited shower and bathroom facilities. Depending on where you are the bathrooms can be far away.
Our stay at Surrey was delightful! We were welcomed warmly and immediately felt comfortable and cared for. Bailey arranged for us to switch tents graciously and with ease. Oli was especially kind and treated us to a delicious peanut butter cookie from the cafe. She later brought us a sample of an appetizer from a recipe that she was trying and it was such a treat! We luxuriated in the hot tub and enjoyed a fire in our fire pit. I would definitely recommend a stay here.
Tents with electricity. Comfy bed and the hot tub was very nice. Everyone was welcoming and positive. My stay was Monday and Tuesday, so I was the only one there—peaceful and I felt very safe. The wifi was excellent. Sahara was especially helpful!
We decided to spend a couples weekend out at this quiet and friendly place. Close enough to town to walk in to town far enough to enjoy the quiet time and nature. Surrounded by vineyards. The staff was very friendly. This is clamping at it best. The grounds are clean and beautiful.
The accommodations are large walk-in tents, which was really interesting and a lot of fun. There is a deck in front of the tent, and each tent has a seating area and fire ring. Our tent had two large full beds, but other ones had queens. There is a nice pool, and a bunch of kids were having a blast in it. It is easy walking distance to the strip in Guerneville. The staff was very friendly, and there was free coffee in the lobby.
If you want to try glamping this is a nice location to do it. The area is far enough away to be rural with only a few blocks walk to downtown and great places to eat. One recommendation I would have for the location. Is to go over the rules of the property with everyone and provide a phone number when there is an issue. Our night we had drunk people playing music and talking loudly until 3am. This is not the fault of the facility rather the rudeness of the other guests. We told their staff the next day and they ensured us they would ban them from future stays.
Comfy beds made for a delightful start! The pool, adorned with inviting chaise lounges, offered a serene escape accompanied by the soothing sounds of chirping birds. The hot tub proved equally enjoyable. Surprisingly, the noise didn't permeate between tents, ensuring a peaceful retreat. Although, our tent was sort of on its own. I was grateful when they retrieved and safely stored my forgotten jewelry until my friend picked it up. To enhance arrivals, I suggest installing a prominent "enter here" sign, as the address leads to a road behind the resort. Additionally, a visible "Check in here" sign from the parking lot would streamline the process.
As a parent taking a toddler glamping, I wasn’t sure what to expect. For the parents, this is a great, kid friendly resort. We stayed in a tent cabin (#25) that had a queen bed and a couch that turned into a futon. It was perfectly comfortable. There was a mini fridge, a fan (we brought an extra one as well) and plenty of outlets to heat a tea kettle, charge gadgets and whatnot. There is one floor lamp that was bright enough for the whole space. This unit is right next to the pool, and bathroom. It was convenient, but there was some noise with the gate opening and closing. Each site has its own fire pit and two lounge chairs. Go to Safeway across the street for the best value on fire wood.
There was another review that complained about the bathrooms. It was a very busy 4th of July stay. We were up early and had no issue. It takes some planning, but we were able to find an open bathroom whenever we needed. There are also bathroom stalls in the lobby area, which are helpful during busy shower hours.
The place was perfect for what we needed. The staff were accommodating and very friendly. Lastly, youre staying outside. Expect bugs and all the things as if you were camping. It’s glamping, and this place knocks it out of the park.
What a fun experience! Right from the beginning I felt relaxed and ready for a great time. Everything you can want for fun, food and shopping is walking distance and the beach or a walk in the Redwoods is a short drive!
Check in was great, the young lady toured us around letting us know where the amenities were and how to get to our tent. A very personal touch, although they had maps too. I liked the guidance touch!
There are wagons to help carry your items! I didn't pack light, so very helpful.
The pool and lounging area are Soo inviting and beautiful!
Beyond the pool you go into the nicely landscaped tent area, all set up and ready for guests to arrive! The set up is top notch! The tents are very spacious and clean! I myself would like a small dresser or clothes rack and a mirror in the tent, everything else was perfect! Loved the electric blanket! So cozy!
We met another couple there who were going to the same music venue as us. We decided to ride together. As we were leaving the husband let me know his wife needed help getting ready. She couldn't see what she looked like not having a mirror. Sure, there's a few single bathrooms around but for those of us who like our makeup, the convenience of not hauling it and taking up a single bathroom to do our face would have been perfect!! Seeing as we're glamping not camping! Got to check out our faces and hairdos! And for safety if you have something in your eyeballs!
A great time at the resort! We're bringing a group next!
