"This is a budget hotel, so you get what you pay for. It served our needs, which were very basic: a place to sleep and shower. It’s no Ritz Carlton, but it got us by. Toilet seat was broken, walls were stained, and one of the AC units didn’t work. However, location was good (very walkable) and the staff were super friendly and helpful. They made this stay more enjoyable and were very hospitable. "

"The customer service was absolutely outstanding. They front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Siao Chou (小周) and Ting Ting (亭亭). They went out of their way to provide us with specific information about local tourist destinations and how to navigate the city. Our Guilin visit went well because of them. The only issue we had was the hotel only had one washer and dryer. They were mostly occupied during early morning and night. "
