I loved the rustic feel but also it well well kept and spacious of the 6 of us. Loved the breakfast included. I loved how everything was walking distance! I can’t wait to go back soon! Center of everything!

Very friendly ,welcoming and helpful staff. The room was very clean, cool ac (we went in May) . Buffet breakfast was delicious. Hotel is in city center near the church and walking distance to other sites. I would stay here again.

La Casona De Don Lucas is perfectly located right in the heart of Guanajuato. Everything is within walking distance — La Plaza, Teatro Juárez, the famous tunnels, Universidad de Guanajuato, the Mercado, great restaurants, and all the main tourist sites. They also offer a nice small breakfast buffet to start your day. We highly recommend requesting a room with a balcony for stunning views of the plaza and church. The staff is super friendly and always happy to provide recommendations.

The rooms were clean and spacious and the location was great! However, the a/c did not function properly in two out of the three rooms we had. This was the third time we stayed at this hotel and did not have an issue in our previous stays. Hopefully they fix the a/c in these rooms which were reported to the front desk.
