"The room was clean and very convenient as it had an external door to the car park. The room was too hot, not helped by the towel radiator which always on. Not needed when the weather outside was 25⁰C. The staff were welcoming and helpful. We had breakfast in the moving of our departure which set us up for the rest of the day."

"It was a lovely property with an interesting history. We visited in the middle of a heat wave and without any A/C and being unable to open the windows more than a few inches, the rooms were hot! A nice quiet fan was provided but it made the heat slightly less unbearable. Thank goodness for the pool! The staff were pleasant and helpful."

"There were build works outside by terrace overlooking lake with cement mixer and angle grinder cutting stone most of the day the Saturday I was there . Not the best idea with patrons sitting there by temporary plastic tape eating and drinking . Perhaps a fencing of sorts to obscure the works ?"

They were working on the WiFi so we were not able to connect to it in our room. The TV signal was erratic. We booked a buffet breakfast but all that was actually available were variations on a cooked breakfast, or Toast & Jam. "Staff were incredibly helpful and polite throughout our stay. Room was impeccably clean and breakfast was lovely. Only slight issue was staff were sometimes a little slow getting to us to order cooked breakfast meaning we had to miss out on the one day because we had an impatient toddler. We also had dinner on our first night and it was lush."

"There was no privacy once you draw back the curtains as the room as front facing. There was no A/C in the room which made it difficult on a hot summer day. Staff said that swimming pool was not very big so had to inform them before using to avoid overcrowding."

"Drunk male receptionist took ages to check us in , then given me a room I haven’t book . I have booked one family large room 145 - two green standing single beds and double bed room and I was given one double bed , one single and pull out of this bed to sleep on the floor type matrasse bed , when I questioned this he said that I was suppose to be told this when booked - nonsense I booked via this page with photos of the room - freestanding two single beds !!!"

"I was little disappointed as when I booked through hotels.com platform,they advertised it as breakfast included free but then when I arrived at the hotel, I was told breakfast was not included. They didn't tell me the cost of the breakfast until I asked, neither was I given a receipt of my payment made (I should have asked but I had three little kids to sort out and it slipped out of my mind) The room was stuffy, there was a fan which only had speed control and didn't do a great job.
