"Gorgeous George was the best property we stayed in on our five week stay in Africa. The hotel is unique in presentation and design; the staff were extremely helpful; the room was made up early each day, and consistently; and the rooftop bar served excellent food and had a lovely atmosphere and unique decor. The hotel is located right in the centre of Cape Town near the markets. It's an oasis in the middle of the City and ideal if you wish to experience Cape Town proper, and take cheap Uber trips to the Waterfront. We highly recommend this place and would return should we visit Cape Town again. The vibe, the staff - everything about the place was wonderful."
