"I don't normally write reviews but I have to give a thumbs up to this motel. Rooms are nicely decorated, good views, well equipped, everything you want for a stay. I recommend staying at this hotel "

Everything in the room you could want (except a box of tissues). Working heat and cool. Our mattress was a little tired but one night did not cripple my back issues. No noise from the highway which is between the motel and the view.
And well priced for Apollo Bay at the weekend.
Would stay there again."

Okay, real talk: when we first pulled into the Blue Ocean Motel, I had a full-blown “oh no, what have I done?” moment. From the outside, it looked like it might star in a retro horror film called Motel Misery. BUT—big but here—the moment we stepped inside, all our fears vanished faster than free Wi-Fi on a family road trip.
The rooms? Spotless. Clean, comfy beds that didn’t feel like they were borrowed from a 1980s hospital...
"Everything was fine except we were not aware that shower was over the spa bath.
As one of our party had mobility issues this meant they were unable to shower.
Even hand grips would have helped."
