The room I was staying in looked tired and requires an upgrade but before leaving Donna was kind enough to show me other rooms including the 3 rooms in the Manor House. "I've stayed at Ramada many times on work trips to Oxford. I advise choosing a room on the upper floor because on the ground floor you may hear stomping around late at night in the room overhead. There are also humming machines in a courtyard outside the ground floor windows - maybe that's the air heating system. In the room itself there's everything you need: clean shower room, white towels, free wifi, bedside lights, plug sockets, kettle with cups and tea bags etc. The bad reviews seem to...

"This is hands down the best value for money stay I have had in the UK. Everything from the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, down to the modern rooms was at the highest level of quality, at a very reasonable price. The Tassimo machine in the room was a really nice touch, not come across that before. If we were to find ourselves in that are of the country again, I will definitely be booking for a stay and a meal. Thank you."

"Check in was a pleasant experience and when I asked if we could have a quiet room we were upgraded to an executive room with fridge. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We’ve stayed here on numerous occasions over the years and I’d say the breakfast wasn’t as good as usual. The dining room is getting shabby and stains on chairs off putting. To be fair a lot of guests were down for breakfast and it wasn’t so easy to choose what you wanted to eat. the food wasn’t being replenished quickly...
