"Arrived 30 mins before check in and was taken straight to our room. The lady that showed us to our room was lovely, and was very kind when my toddler chatted away to her. Room was clean and looked lovely. I liked that you could park right outside your room which was easy to unload the car. "Lovely, interesting old building in a very good location. Given the age of the hotel there are the inevitable uneven floors and slightly steep stairs. The free parking at the rear of the hotel is a real bonus. Our room was comfortable, well equipped and pleasantly decorated. The breakfasts were consistently good but sadly the hotel does not provide evening meals. All the staff were cheerful and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again."
